Monte Perry is a self-taught artist based in Brownsboro, Alabama, whose work is deeply rooted in nature, global cultures, and personal journeys. Since launching Monte Perry Design in 2005, she has cultivated a distinctive style that merges organic materials with symbolic storytelling.

For Monte, art is an intimate expression of the soul. Her creations—whether collage or mixed media—are inspired by the natural world, music, and the diverse cultures she has encountered through extensive travel. Her family's military service has afforded her many unforgettable journeys, which she channels into her artwork, letting life experiences flow through her creative process. In her visual art, Monte employs a vibrant mix of acrylic paints, gouache, repurposed magazines, and paper, sealed with UV protectant to preserve their layered textures. Her collages, such as the "American Woman Print," blend historical imagery with surreal botanical elements, celebrating resilience and feminine strength. Monte Perry Design has been featured in regional arts events like the Moss Rock Festival, the Kentuck Festival of the Arts and the Monte Sano Art Festival.
